Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
