And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
