Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 excusing or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
