The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 It will engulf them. 8 in towering columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
