And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
