Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And hearkens to its Lord and is dutiful, 2 And when the earth is flattened out, 3 and casts out what is within it and is emptied, 4 And attentive to her Lord in fear! 5 Human being, you strive hard to get closer to your Lord, and so you will certainly receive the recompense (of your deeds). 6 And as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, 7 His account shall presently be taken by an easy reckoning. 8 And he shall return unto his people joyfully. 9 But he who is given his Book from behind his back 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 And [enter to] burn in a Blaze. 12 Surely he was (erstwhile) joyful among his followers. 13 He verily deemed that he would never return (unto Allah). 14 Surely yes, why not? Indeed his Lord is seeing him. 15 I swear by the glow of sunset, 16 And the night and all it gathers, 17 and by the moon, when it reaches its fullness: 18 That you will climb from stage to stage. 19 So, wherefore do they not believe? 20 And that, when the Qur'an is read unto them, they prostrate not them-selves! ۩ 21 But on the contrary the Unbelievers reject (it). 22 And Allah well knows what they conceal in their hearts. 23 (Muhammad), tell them that they will all suffer a painful torment 24 Save those who believe and do good works, for theirs is a reward unfailing. 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
