The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
