The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna: 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 What, has he observed the Unseen, or taken a covenant with the All-merciful? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. 82
