The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the racers, panting, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
