And when the sent angels came to the house of Lut. 61 he said, "You are strangers [to me]." 62 They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing, 63 We bring you the truth, and indeed we are truthful. 64 So set out with your family in a watch of the night, and keep yourself behind them, and no one of you may turn around, and keep going ahead as you have been commanded." 65 And We made known to him this decree that the wrongdoers were to be utterly cut off in the morning. 66 And the inhabitants of the city came rejoicing (at the news of the young men's arrival). 67 He said, 'These are my guests; put me not to shame, 68 And fear Allah, and humiliate me not. 69 They replied, "Did we not forbid you to bring anyone to your house?" 70 [Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]." 71 By your life! In their drunkenness they were truly blind. 72 Then the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the sunrise. 73 and We turned those [sinful towns] upside down, and rained down upon them stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained. 74 Indeed in that are signs for those who discern. 75 And verily they are on a pathway lasting. 76 surely in that is a sign for believers. 77 The people of the Wood were also surely wrongdoers. 78 So We took vengeance on them. And verily both are on a high-road open. 79

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
