۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
