Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
