Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 till a known term decreed? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
