Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. 1 His wealth will not suffice him, neither what he has gained; 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 shall have a rope of palmfiber around her neck! 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
