Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 When we are dead and turned to dust, this returning (to life) is most far-fetched." 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And (how) We have spread the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and have grown all kinds of beautiful pairs in it? 7 A perception and an understanding, for every bondman who inclines. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
