The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Surely it shall be closed over upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
