And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 Indeed, all things We created with predestination. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
