WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 On the right hand and on the left, in sundry parties? 37 Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 I do not need to swear by the Lord of the eastern and western regions that We have certainly all the power 40 to exchange them with others better than they; nothing can outstrip Us! 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 Downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
