Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
