Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 haply I shall do righteousness in that I forsook.' Nay, it is but a word he speaks; and there; behind them, is a barrier until the day that they shall be raised up. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 Lo! there was a party of My slaves who said: Our Lord! We believe, therefor forgive us and have mercy on us for Thou art Best of all who show mercy; 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
