Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him – We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
