Al-Suff 2 of 2

O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment? 10 You shall believe in God and His Messenger, and struggle in the way of God with your possessions and your selves. That is better for you, did you but know. 11 and He will forgive you your sins and admit you into Gardens with rivers flowing under them. He will lodge you in fine dwellings in the Gardens of Eternity; that is indeed the supreme achievement. 12 He will give you another blessing which you desire: help from God and imminent victory. Give good tidings [O Muhammad] to believers! 13 Believers, be the helpers of God just as when Jesus, the son of Mary, asked the disciples, "Who will be my helpers for the cause of God?" and the disciples replied, "We are the helpers of God." A group of the Israelites believed in him and others rejected him. We helped the believers against their enemies and they became victorious. 14

True are the words of God the Almighty.
