What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly- 40 To replace them by others better than they; and We are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
