But the cautious shall live amongst gardens and fountains: 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 "No sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave it." 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
