Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 164 Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures 165 keeping yourselves aloof from all the [lawful] spouses whom your Sustainer has created for you? Nay, but you are people who transgress all bounds of what is right!" 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said, “I am disgusted with your works.” 168 [And then he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Save me and my household from all that they are doing!" 169 We saved him and all of his family 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
