In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 Taught the Qur'an, 2 He created man 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and the moon are made punctual. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate themselves. 6 He raised the sky and set the Balance 7 That ye exceed not the measure, 8 And observe the weight with equity and do not make the balance deficient. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 and a variety of corn with both husk and grain. 12 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 13 He created man of clay like the potter's, 14 And created jinn from the flame of fire. 15 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 16 [He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets. 17 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 From the two oceans comes pearls and coral. 22 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
