▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of kindness be aught save kindness? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
