WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 To replace them by those better than them; and none can escape from Us. 41 So leave them to their vain disputes and amusement till they meet their day (of reckoning) promised them, 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
