Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
