The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
