And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
