Nay, by the moon, 32 by the retreating night, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 a warning to humans, 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
