Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
