The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many generations have We destroyed before them, who were far greater in riches and more boastful! 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he looked to the unseen, or has he made a pledge to the Merciful One? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 and We shall inherit from him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
