The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the sky full of great constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 They sat by it 6 And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Indeed, the seizing of your Lord is severe. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 The Lord of the glorious Throne, 15 Who does as He pleases. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet)! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
