Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
