Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the white forenoon 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
