۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
