Then the people of Lot rejected the messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. 164 What! Of all creatures do ye come unto the males, 165 leaving aside those whom Allah has created for you as your mates. Nay, you are a people that has transgressed all limits." 166 They said: if thou desistest not, O Lut! thou shalt surely be of those driven forth. 167 He said: Surely I am of those who utterly abhor your doing; 168 My Lord! deliver me and my household from that which they work. 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 Except an old woman (his wife) among those who remained behind. 171 Then We utterly destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain. So ill was the rain on those warned? 173 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 174 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 175

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
