Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
