The Bee (Al-nahl)
128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. 1 He sends down the angels with the soul of faith the divine revelations towards those among His bondmen He wills that, “There is no worship except for Me, therefore fear Me.” 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture]. 6 And they bear your loads to a city which ye could not reach except with travail of souls; verily your Lord is Kind, Merciful. 7 And horses, and mules, and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment; and He creates what you know not. 8 It is for Allah to show the way. Some swerve from it, but had He willed, He would have guided all of you. 9
