And convey unto them the story of Abraham 69 When he said to his father and his people: What do you worship? 70 They said, "We worship idols and will continue to cling to them." 71 He said, “Do they hear you when you call?” 72 'Can they benefit you or harm you' 73 They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. 74 He said, “Do you see these – (the idols) whom you worship?” 75 you and your forefathers of yore? 76 Yet they are my enemies except the Lord of all the worlds 77 “The One Who created me, so He will guide me.” 78 “And the One Who feeds me and gives me to drink.” 79 “And when I fall ill, so it is He Who heals me.” 80 And Who causeth me to die, then giveth me life (again), 81 And Who, I hope, will forgive me my mistakes on the day of judgment. 82 “My Lord, bestow me the command and join me with those who deserve your proximity.” 83 And grant me an honourable mention in later generations; 84 And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight; 85 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; 86 And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; 87 the day when neither wealth nor sons shall profit 88 except for him who comes to God with a pure heart. 89 and Paradise shall be brought forward to the cautious. 90 "And to those straying in Evil, the Fire will be placed in full view; 91 And it will be said to them, "Where are those you used to worship 92 Other than Allah? Can they help you or help themselves?" 93 Then they shall be hurled therein, they and the seduced ones. 94 And the hosts of Iblis all together. 95 "Quarrelling therein with each other, 96 By Allah! we were certainly in manifest error, 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Universe. 98 yet they who have seduced us [into believing in you] are the truly guilty ones! 99 and now we have none to intercede on our behalf, 100 nor a loving friend. 101 If we could only return to the world and be among the believers." 102 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 103 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
