Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
