Are you more difficult to create, or is the heaven that He constructed? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 AND SO, when the great overwhelming event [of resurrection] comes to pass 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
