Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
