The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He shall be in a life well-pleasing. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
