We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
