The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the Striking? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 The mountains like the tufts of carded wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
