“O Noble Messengers, eat good clean things, and do good deeds; I know all that you do.” 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But people have cut off their affair (of unity), between them, into sects: each party rejoices in that which is with itself. 53 So leave them in their intoxication till a time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We are hastening to them of good things? Nay, they do not perceive. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord – 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 and those who give to others what has been bestowed upon them with their hearts trembling at the thought that they must return to their Lord; 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 And [withal.] We do not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: for with Us is a record that speaks the truth [about what men do and can do]; and none shall be wronged. 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 [But they will be told] "Cry not in supplication today; for, behold, you shall not be succoured by Us! 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 In scorn thereof. Nightly did ye rave together. 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or do they not recognise their Messenger, that they deny him? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 If truth had followed their whims and desires, heavens and earth and all that lives in them would have been brought to ruin. Rather We have brought them their Reminder. Yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. 71 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 but those who disbelieve the life hereafter deviate from the right path. 74 ۞ If We took compassion on them and removed the affliction they are in, they would only wander lost in confusion. 75 Already have We grasped them with punishment, but they humble not themselves unto their Lord, nor do they pray, 76 So that when at last We open up the gate of severe punishment on them they will be overwhelmed with despair. 77
