۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness." 47 Say: 'My Lord hurls the truth -- the Knower of the Unseen.' 48 Say: The truth has come, and the falsehood shall vanish and shall not come back. 49 Say: 'If I go astray, then I go astray only against myself; if I am guided it is because of that which my Lord has revealed to me. He is the Hearer, and the Near' 50 Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand, 51 and then they will say, "We have faith in the Quran." How can they have any faith when they are far away from this world. 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 A gulf will exist between them and their desires on the Day of Judgment like the similar people who lived before. They, too, had lived in doubt and uncertainty (about the life hereafter). 54
